Description

Operating in the UK since 2013, STRABAG UK is a division of STRABAG SE, a leading European-based construction technology group with a global footprint. STRABAG UK delivers services across the water, energy, nuclear, transport, and building sectors. STRABAG UK Ltd provides full construction services to our clients, from design and build of tunnelling and civil engineering projects to building construction. In doing so, STRABAG UK Ltd creates added value for clients by integrating a wide variety of specialist skills and services, helping to deliver complex infrastructure and ground engineering projects. We have been working in the UK market since 2013 and have over 1,600 employees involved in several projects in the UK, including the Coire Glas Exploratory Tunnel for SSE Renewables (near Fort William in Scotland), the Woodsmith project (North Yorkshire) for Anglo American, HS2’s London Tunnels (Skanska Costain STRABAG JV), the Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme (HARP) for United Utilities, and have established our own advanced manufacturing facility in Hartlepool. We also recently completed an artificial ground freezing trial at Sizewell C as part of preparations for main construction. In 2023, STRABAG UK launched a new building unit, based in Solihull, which leads on the construction of light industrial and logistics centres, data centres, advanced manufacturing facilities and commercial developments. It is currently delivering the building works for the Strategic Rail Freight Interchange at SEGRO Logistics Park Radlett, Hertfordshire and essential improvement works at Aldenham Reservoir in Hertfordshire.
