Description

Eiffage Génie Civil, a partner for sustainable nuclear infrastructure The renovation and maintenance of nuclear installations is a major engineering challenge At Eiffage Civil Engineering, we firmly believe that the future of energy lies in upgrading and sustaining existing nuclear infrastructure. Find out how we support nuclear industry players over the long term by reinforcing structures to extend their service life and adapting sites to meet new safety and security challenges.  Our integrated solutions for nuclear power Work on nuclear facilities requires a wide range of expertise. We know how to mobilize this expertise within the Eiffage Group to provide integrated solutions tailored to the specific needs of the nuclear industry. Our in-depth knowledge of existing facilities, our rigorous processes, our certifications, our high technical standards, and our safety culture enable us to successfully complete sensitive and complex projects.  Work to reinforce and upgrade nuclear facilities Our expertise in new civil engineering allows us to design and build complete structures for all trades. We also reinforce existing structures, in particular by creating tornado shelters and earthquake reinforcement. Our knowledge of facilities allows us to upgrade their structure: creating hoppers, sumps, and partitions to adapt to changes in processes. The evolution and sustainability of facilities are an integral part of our value chains, with specific heavy maintenance interventions such as changing seismic supports or structural repairs.  Construction work on nuclear sites In the field of development work, our teams have all the necessary skills in outdoor site development, including the creation of networks, sanitation, the construction of retention basins, and the maintenance of parking lots, as well as the installation of railways. Protecting sites from external threats is another of our specialties, with the construction of flood barriers, watertight access gates, and perimeter fences. We also have expertise in dismantling operations, ranging from mechanical demolition to soil decontamination.  Marine works in the nuclear sector We carry out heavy maintenance and reinforcement of existing structures, including the replacement of tie rods and the installation of sheet piling. Our teams also specialize in drainage works, including the sealing of gutters and the installation of flood prevention valves and flaps.
